Welcome to Cheval Golf & Country Club
Cheval Golf & Country Club is a private club dedicated to providing a quality experience throughout the Club for our members and their guests. Our Mission Statement is as follows:
"Our vision is to provide a prestigious family-oriented country club that best serves our Members by being private and exclusive. Our Members, to whom we will provide outstanding recreational services and social value, will be proud of their association with the Club and proud to bring family and guests to the club. We will constantly strive and look forward to exceeding your expectations"
The Club is located in a gorgeous cypress forest, much of which is set aside as conservation areas for wildlife. This lovely setting defines the Club and the golf course, which is considered one of the finest in the Tampa Bay area. Most Members are from the Cheval Community, though this is not a prerequisite for membership.
Our clubhouse has gone through a multi-million dollar renovation and officially opened in November 2011. It boasts the newest addition to Cheval, Prime 19 Restaurant and Bar, overlooking beautiful Lake Cheval. Currently dining is available Tuesday through Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fine dining will be opened in the coming months.
Also included in the renovation are superbly appointed men's and ladies' locker rooms and a world class, well stocked golf pro shop.
The Cheval Athletic Club houses nine lighted and meticulously maintained Har-Tru clay tennis courts. Currently, the rest of the athletic center is undergoing major renovation. The club will be unveiling a world class fitness center as well as a newly laned Jr. Olympic sized swimming pool later on this year. Keep checking for updates on this fantastic project.

Steve could not be more accommodating in the club house, was always friendly and answered any questions I had. I played the course daily for almost two weeks. It is one of the finest tests of golf I have played in Florida. I could be a member here and never get bored playing the same course as the course with the undulating fairways changes depending on your lie for every round.
